Welcome to The Oak Tree Primary School

Dear Parents/Carers,

I would like to welcome you to The Oak Tree Primary School.  We take children from Nursery age to Year Six.  I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this school where, along with all of the pupils, staff and governors, I believe we are on an exciting learning adventure; always aiming to improve.

Our motto "From Acorns to Mighty Oaks" embraces the idea of a journey through school and our belief in the potential of all our pupils. 

Our vision and aspirations for all our children is that they can be confident, secure, caring individuals who achieve personal success and develop a love of learning.  We encourage our children to be "active participants", not "passive observers", in their education so that they can achieve both academically and socially.

We aim to do this by:

• Providing an interesting, challenging and well-resourced curriculum
• Recognising and celebrating success in everyone
